Regarded as one of South Africa’s premier social calendar highlights and the perfect end to a working year as well as kick starting the festive season, the organisers of the annual Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival, have made the tough decision to not proceed with this year’s festival. This decision has not been taken lightly and has been done in the best interests of all.
Although the festival won’t be going ahead as planned this doesn’t stop you from visiting the Franschhoek Valley during the festive period now that leisure travel is permitted. Home to SA’s only Méthode Cap Classique Route, which allows you to tailor make your own bubbly experience, why not plan to venture to the valley and turn what would have been a day visit into a weekend escape.
