During the month of October Breytenbach Centre offers a variety of entertainment that will suit everyone’s preference.

Join them for art exhibitions, book launches, classical music presentations and other musical shows.

‘Handskrif’ – Uitstalling oor sewe vrouedigters

Die Tuin van Digters se feeskunstenaar, Henk Serfontein, se veel geloofde uitstalling ‘Handskrif’, is nog tot 31 Oktober in die Breytenbach-galery in die Breytenbach-sentrum in Burgerstraat 14 in Wellington te sien. Sy werke belig die binnelewe (saam met ’n gedig van elkeen) van sewe formidabele vrouedigters, naamlik, Jeanne Goosen, Antjie Krog, Wilma Stockenström, Lina Spies, Diana Ferrus, Melanie Grobler en Joan Hambidge. Blouwillem se nuwe boek bekendgestel

Blouwillem Theron, die gewilde rubriekskrywer in Die Burger en ander publikasies, se nuutste boek, 50 blertse blou, word op Donderdag 25 Oktober by die Breytenbach-boekklub in Die Bôrdienghuis in Wellington bekendgestel. Francois Lötter, bestuurder van die Breytenbach-sentrum en oud-joernalis, sal met hom gesels.

Dit begin 18:30 vir 19:00.

Baie by gewilde klassieke Sondagmiddagkonsert

Die Breytenbach-sentrum se gewilde reeks Sondagmiddag klassieke konserte in samewerking met Le Bac Estates en ondersteun deur die Rupert-musiekstigting, is besig om baie gewild te word. Le Bac se konsertsaal was volgepak op Sondag 9 September toe die pianiste Tertia Visser Downie en Francois du Toit hulle Vier Hande / Four Hands uitgevoer het.

Die volgende konsert, die uurlange Somerkonsert vind op Sondag 25 November om 18:00 plaas.

Bespreek NOU vir Mallies en Die Sakemanne
Die gewilde oud-Wellingtonner, Mallies le Roux, en sy groep musikale sakemanne se optrede in Die Bôrdienghuis is een van die gewildste vertonings elke jaar. Moet dit nie misloop nie en bepreek sommer gou.

Hulle tree Saterdagaand 20 Oktober om 20:00 op.

Pizzas en drankies is van 18:00 te koop.
