    You are hereby invited to a Natural Fabrics & Colouring Workshopon Friday, the 12th of July, from 09:30 till 13:00! Learn how to become your own fashion designer!

    *VENUE
    Langkloof Roses Farm,outside Wellington with our presenters, VIBRANT Francois and Annalene C. Nel-Venter, a fashion designer.

    ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
    Francois Hattingh (B.Sc. Agric.) is PASSIONATE about Living a Truly Authentic, Practical, GREEN & HEALTHY Lifestyle!
    Annalene C. Nel-Venter studied Fashion Design at Arts Campus Pretoria Technikon. Fashion that follows function makes her come alive.

    NATURAL TEXTILES AND COLOURING WORKSHOP
    A hands-on workshop about COLOURING YOUR FABRICS NATURALLY.
    An introduction of natural color pigments and the difference it makes in your appearance and look! Learn how to use nature to color your own fabrics and how to make dies out of your kitchen and own garden.



    Important questions concerning fabrics will be answered:
    What to consider when buying fabric and clothing?

    What is the Health implications of unnatural clothes, bedding and more?
    How do you read a label when you buy clothes?
    Where do you buy natural clothes and fabrics?

    We will discuss the difference between natural and unnatural substances and how to test for natural textiles. Feel, smell and taste the difference yourself!

    YOU WILL RECEIVE TO TAKE HOME
    An info sheet - Included a list of Natural Colouring Recipes in printed form!
    Fabric samples to play around with.
    Four natural dies (You will harvest the raw material and make it yourself).
    A mordant or dye fixative.

    BRING ALONG
    4 recycled empty mason jars from your home.
    An old garment that needs a color change!

    It's that time again where all students will be tested for a higher belt rank.

    Senior grading will take place on 12 June 2019 at our Wellington Dojo as usual.

    All students who are eligible to test for a new grade will receive a grading letter from this week.
