Lighten up your life with a full-moon picnic at the Afrikaans Language monument on

26 October 2018 from 17:00 – 22:00.

You don’t need to cry for the moon to make a perfect evening out possible. Simple join the Afrikaans Language Monument friendly staff on a beautiful spring evening on the picturesque Paarl Mountain to celebrate the first Full Moon Picnic of the summer season.

Fanglasstic – Creative Glass Workshop

Join a Fanglasstic Creative Glass Workshop and allow your imagination to fly free. Flex your creative muscles and create stunning glassware that reflects your personality.

We’ll take care of all the technical stuff so you can turn that great idea into a one-of-a-kind piece of art. Our Creative Glass Workshop provides a time of relaxation and inspiration where you will create a candle holder, a pate bowl and a snack plate. Bring your own design or choose one of ours. You can even design on the fly if you wish!

Anyone can be creative and you don’t need to be an artist to make something beautiful with our glass. Our designers will also be there to show you the ropes and to guide your design for the best result.

Salem Biblical Garden – Guided Tour

Simonsvlei Market

Every Saturday from 9am – 3pm

There is a market at Simonsvlei every Saturday!

We have food stalls, fresh goods, wine, craft beer & gin, live music, as well as many other market stalls. You can have a look at the Simonsvlei Market Facebook Page. Loads of kid’s entertainment as well.

Free entrance. Children pay R60 – 100 for play area.

Windmeul Cellar Farmer’s Market

08h00 – 12h00 (stalls) l 09h00 – 15h00 (wine sales)

Join us for our monthly farmer’s market.  Bring along a cooler box and fill it to the brim with olives, artisanal breads, an assortment of cheese, eggs, charcuterie, meats (chicken, pork, and beef), fresh fruit, and vegetables.  Not convinced yet?  An enclosed kiddies’ area available, live music, crafts and a 10% Discount on wine sales (‘til 15h00).

Remember to bring enough cash – sadly no ATM’s.
